Under the guidance of established cellist and Resident Conductor Mr. Chan Wei Shing (Melody Music), SIM String Ensemble boldly meets new challenges and opportunities to drive the development of the performing arts scene in SIM.
The ensemble takes pride in performing a diverse repertoire ranging from technically demanding symphonies to arrangements of popular music. Its more prolific performances include the Opening Ceremony Dinner of the 18th ASEAN University Games (2016) and the very recent ninth installment of the annual SIM String Ensemble SIMphony concert series, Viaggio (2019).
