SIM Karate
SIM Karate club was set up in 2009 by a handful of SIM students and it is one of the few school clubs in Singapore to have full contact Karate. It aims to introduce Karate as a channel for healthy social expression and emotional learning, strengthen the flexibility of students, condition the physical body, sharpen mental alertness, as well as to encourage a healthy lifestyle.
Kyokushinkaikan is a style of stand-up, full contact Karate, founded in 1964 by Mas Oyama after his 30-year in depth study of various Martial Arts. SIM Budokan Karate-Do Kyokushinkaikan club seeks to instill a healthy lifestyle and sportsmanship in individuals through karate.
