SIM-Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology Student Council

The SIM-RMIT Student Council (RMITSC) is dedicated to fostering a vibrant, inclusive, and engaging campus environment for all SIM-RMIT students. Beyond serving as a representative body, SIM-RMITSC strives to create meaningful opportunities that support both personal and professional development, equipping its members with skills that extend far beyond the classroom.

Since its inception, SIM RMITSC has played an integral role in strengthening the sense of community within SIM through a diverse range of initiatives. These include orientation programs that ease students’ transition into university life, welfare drives that promote student well-being, bonding activities that encourage connection, and community service projects that cultivate a spirit of giving back.

Through active participation in these initiatives, student councilors can develop essential leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. At the same time, they contribute positively to the wider SIM-RMIT community, helping to create a supportive and dynamic student experience for all.
