InSIM’s InSIGHT – Making a comeback
After a 2 year pause, SIM Indonesian Community’s InSIGHT has returned!
InSIGHT is an annual musical production first developed by InSIM way back when in 2009, and has grown bigger and more ostentatious since. The event features fully original scripts, songs, choreography and more all produced by the spectacularly talented members of the club, culminating in a big showcase of their combined efforts. And with this being their first in-person inSIGHT since Covid-19, InSIM pulled out all the stops to make sure that their comeback would be as impressive as possible.
InSIGHT 2023’s production featured a story about a boy named Hugo in a coming-of-age narrative as he breaks out of his shell and finds his own group of friends. The musical featured actors, musicians and singers, not to mention the hard work of set and prop designers. Even the publicity materials were specially designed by the club’s members, rounding out to a fully student-run event that provided an opportunity for everyone to collaborate and bring their community closer together!
