June 2025 was a month of passion, power, and podium finishes for the SIM Dragon Boat Team — and our paddlers showed up stronger than ever. Across three major competitions, our teams battled it out against top competitors and proved that resilience, heart, and teamwork make champions.
Here’s a look back at our standout moments:
🏆 1st Place – One Paddle North East
(Tertiary Women’s Category)

Date: 14 June 2025
Our Tertiary Women’s team opened the month with a stunning performance at the One Paddle North East Race at Bedok Reservoir, conquering the 500m race to take 1st place. Facing off against other polytechnic and university crews, our paddlers powered through with intensity, trust, and sheer will — proving that hard work and unity always pay off.
🥉 3rd Place – Singapore Dragon Boat Festival
(SDBF: Premier Mixed)

Date: 21 June 2025
Competing in the fiercely contested Premier Mixed 500m race, our crew pushed through multiple heats to earn a well-deserved 3rd place finish at the SDBF. It was a proud moment that reflected the hours of training and the team’s unbreakable spirit — each stroke a testament to the strength of our community.
🥈 2nd Place – Prime Minister Cup
(Women’s Category)
Date: 22 June 2025
Over a grueling 1000m course, our Women’s crew held nothing back at the Prime Minister Cup. With relentless grit and discipline, they raced their way to 2nd place, beating out some of the toughest university competitors. Their performance stood out not just in strength, but in the unity and determination that powered them across the finish line.

Our Men’s team took on the same 1000m challenge with grit and courage. Though they narrowly missed the podium with a 4th place finish, the race was a valuable reflection of growth and potential. With sights set on next season, this experience fuels our drive to train harder and reach higher.
